Cambridge Canal Walkway Opens

The 630-foot long Broad Canal Walkway, which runs along the edge of the Broad Canal, has opened, according to Twining Properties and Mirant Kendall.
The walkway, which once extended far into Kendall Square linking factories to the Charles River and the Boston Harbor, sits on piles above the water.

Cambridge Arts Center Receives $400K Grant

The Agassiz Baldwin Community (ABC), a nonprofit corporation providing arts-related community programs throughout Cambridge, recently received a $400,000 Massachusetts Cultural Facilities grant for the construction of the Maud Morgan Visual Arts Center adjacent to its headquarters at 20 Sacramento St. in Cambridge.
